The caption to the picture to the right in today's NYT says that these are customers at an A.T.M. in Madrid Spain. Spain's borrowing costs rose and a rating agency downgraded the credit ratings of 18 banks. Perhaps the four young ladies can't believe there's any money in the bank to take out. Perhaps Angela Merkel is there to reassure all who use the machine, surely making a historic off-camera appearance.
Perhaps Brad Pitt is previewing an underwear ad. Justin Bieber?
